Síor Collection is a trading name of ANPM Ltd ("Síor Collection", "we", "us", "our"). We operate the website siorcollection.ie and our retreat properties, including Bealtaine near Carrick-on-Shannon and the forthcoming Lúnasa in Co. Mayo. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data and are committed to protecting it in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts.

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

  • Booking details: check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, preferences, and any special requests.

  • Payment information: card or payment details, processed securely by our booking and payment providers. We do not store your full card number ourselves.

  • Communications: emails, calls, contact-form submissions, booking enquiries, and interest registrations (including registering interest in the Lúnasa launch).

  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and similar information collected through cookies and comparable technologies when you visit the website.

3. How we collect it

  • Directly from you — when you book, enquire, complete the contact form, register your interest, or contact us by email or phone.

  • Automatically — through cookies and analytics as you use the website.

  • From our service providers — for example, our booking engine, when you make or manage a reservation.

4. Third parties that process data through this website

We use trusted third-party providers to run the website and take bookings. Each processes personal data on our behalf, or as an independent controller under its own privacy policy:

  • Squarespace — website hosting, contact forms, and site analytics. Squarespace sets essential cookies and, with your consent, performance and marketing cookies, and processes contact-form submissions and usage data. (Squarespace Ireland Ltd / Squarespace, Inc. — squarespace.com/privacy)

  • Lodgify — our direct booking engine, used on the Bealtaine page and at checkout. Lodgify processes your booking, guest and payment details to take and manage reservations, and sets a booking cookie. (lodgify.com/privacy-policy)

  • Adobe Fonts (Typekit) — serves the fonts used across the website and may record your IP address and technical data when fonts load. (Adobe Inc. — adobe.com/privacy)

  • Google reCAPTCHA — protects our forms from spam and abuse and collects device and usage signals, subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms. (Google Ireland Ltd.)

  • FormSubmit — delivers our contact-form enquiries to us by email. When you use the contact form, the details you enter (name, email and message) are passed through FormSubmit to reach us. (formsubmit.co)

  • Payment processing — card payments made through the booking engine are handled by its PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card details.

We may also share data with our professional advisers, or with authorities where we are legally required to do so. We never sell your personal data.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, grouped as follows:

  • Strictly necessary (for example, Squarespace crumb and Lodgify ldgfy…) — required for the website and the booking process to work.

  • Performance and analytics (for example, ss_performanceCookiesAllowed) — help us understand how the site is used. Set only with your consent.

  • Marketing (for example, ss_marketingCookiesAllowed) — used for marketing measurement. Set only with your consent.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner on our site, and you can manage or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the website works.

6. Why we use your data and our legal bases (GDPR)

  • To take and manage your booking and provide your stay — performance of a contract.

  • To respond to enquiries and provide guest support — legitimate interests / steps taken at your request before a contract.

  • To process payments and keep financial and tax records — contract and legal obligation.

  • To send marketing, offers, and Lúnasa launch updates — your consent (you can withdraw it at any time).

  • To secure and improve the website and prevent fraud and spam — legitimate interests.

  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.

7. Sharing and international transfers

Some of our providers (for example, Squarespace, Lodgify, Adobe and Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Booking and financial records are kept for as long as Irish tax and accounting law requires (generally up to six or seven years). Enquiry and marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to erase it.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@siorcollection.ie.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) if you believe your data has been handled improperly.

10. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
